It would be fun to come up with it in the proper font. Something like that might even prompt me to finally paint my bike!

Cabbi is using those decals on his gsxr framed H2. I tried to put the picture of it up, I can see it before I hit the post button but doesn't show up on the board.

Well I decided to buy this instead. Now I can make my own quickasfuki decals. It's a little archaic with the speed and cutting pressure done through the control panel on the unit and not through drivers. Thing works great as the the guy cut me out a sample from the unit while I was there. The price was right also at about a quarter of what it is for a new one, I can't complain, no one is going to listen any ways right. browney out

Sweet! Why buy 1 set when you can make them yourself... And others for others at a bargain price!

The way I look at it one set of decals for the ZX900 done with this unit and it's payed for itself including materials. It Uses PLT and HPLT files. There's this guy I know who does solidworks I think he might be able to whip up a few of these files no problems via the barter system. browney out

Really cool, browney! My wife has a letter size cutter that makes things like rat stickers for my DT100, but being able to make big ones is a real plus.

Wayne, Would you be interested in doing up a large number of business decals for the shop? I would make up the file and send to you, PM me a price when you get more set up and figure out materials and such,

Thanks for the offer Curtis it's appreciated. But I was just going to use the cutter to make a few decals and use it to make up some gaskets. I wasn't really looking at the machine as a business venture. Really cool, browney! My wife has a letter size cutter that makes things like rat stickers for my DT100, but being able to make big ones is a real plus. With it being 24' wide and endless length Jim it will be put to good use and for sure this baby is going to save me money. It also came with 6 new extra blades which was a bonus. As I am a cheap son of a gun I figure that this was the way to go. browney out

Illustrator is what the pro's like Andre use for decals. You don't need a font. You just hand draw decals by downloading a jpeg from RB's site and use it as a trace template. Quite easy actually, once drawn, you create a cut contour then send the "vector" image to print and finish on the Rolland. Getting them fitted perfectly as Andre does is the hard part. It's time consuming. Thats why Andre's are "the Best" in the world. From Illustrator you can export any format you require for later edits/use in other vector based applications. These days I am fortunate enuff I can just create, print and cut unobtainable decals myself on my own time. I just got all trained up on the Rolland and made my own vintage snowmobile decals, they turned out sweet. I was down to see Ellen and Andre a couple weeks back, they more or less stop everything when you visit them and give you their undivided attention. The new shop is even closer to me now, I made it there in 45 minutes flat this time. I only like to pester them for a short period, time is money

Hi Don Because I am not a pro and I am cheap SOG to boot I decided to go the Linux root with a old lap top I loaded Ubuntu, then installed Gimp, and then Inkscape with the Inkcut extension for the cutter plotter output. For my purpose Inkscape has all the features that Illustrator has that I need and is free. As far as getting everything perfectly aligned on the decals for multiple colors a simple reference square or circle can be made for each color so the alignment is perfect. Don't think much skill is involved there. I am not much of a artist so hand drawing the decals and then digitizing it will be above my skill set. I will take pictures or get some pictures off of google and convert them into Rastor images then to Vector. I am not the biggest fan of the Diablo Decals, I prefer to get the RB ones myself. But everyone has their own taste right? Picked up some vinyl yesterday now its time to play. I figure this will be my first decal I will do. browney out

Solidworks 2016 now has raster to vector software embedded in it. It's pretty handy for making cad drawings from pdf's...
