Anyone run a smaller master cylinder (EX 250 piston) on the stock H2 calipar? Just wonder if there is much better stopping with the higher PSI-until I get an EX calipar.

Probably not, the caliper clam-shells anyway.......

Won't be much noticeable of a difference

You'd think it'd be easier to pull in though?

The lever pull would be easier, and you might like it. The potential problem is that since the caliper is relatively flexible, it's possible that the lever would hit the handlebar before the wheel would lock. You'd probably have to give it a try to find out how good the combination is.

I couldn't help myself while waiting for ninja caliper to arrive so I tried it. The master cylinder change made a noticeable difference in lever feel and modulation. The lever feels softer and more precise. Much better than the stock wooden feel plus it stops a tiny bit better too; maybe it's the fact that my hands are weak with the wooden caliper. It does pull much closer to the bars than I'd like but a good brake line could offset that somewhat. Not as strong for braking as with the ninja caliper but definitely an improvement. Still going to add the ninja caliper when it arrives. The OEM comparatively speaking is kinda like when the booster in your car starts to bleed off. LOL

Thanks for the update. Did you order HH pads for the Ninja caliper?

I was using aftermarket on my H1 can't remember if they were EBC double H or not, and thought to go that route again. Going to make one parts order after I get the caliper and evaluate it's condition.
