Petes Superbikes in Montreal Very good prices on Tires. I bought a rear tire for my ZX900 Bridgestone Battlax 130/80V-18 BT-45 for $167.50 CDN eh! to the door including taxes and shipping. They actually sell things in Canadian dollars which was a nice surprise. browney out

So far I only received fresh rubber from him at good prices. FedEx 2 day delivery... I don't even shop around anymore.

Be careful with some of these online tire shops.
A few shops have closed or been sued because customers brought in tires they purchased online and the shop mounted, only to have an issue with the tire....
We won't install tires we don't sell, neither will 6 other shops that we deal with. And it looks like it's all going that way now...
Grab your tire irons boys

Be careful with some of these online tire shops. Yup, I've read on Kawi2stroke where guys have got 2-3 year old rubber at a great price!

Last tire I bought from petes was a bt45 less than a year old. Still picked up a rear s11 from gp bikes for 50 bones during their tire sale. Made in 2013. Not complaining

There's a time and a place for being cheap... tires are NOT that place in my opinion. I only buy quality rubber from a reputable dealer. Take no chances boys.

Facebook isn't a good survey.....
Everyone wants to save money, myself I have only ever ordered from a shop I know and trust, reviews and "likes" are irrelevant. Putting your safety at risk is your own call, I won't sit here and hold your hand or tell you what to do. But in my opinion, coming from a shop, who had the option to bulk order our tires and save more money if we bought through Pete's, and give us a larger profit margin. We still won't, we don't know how old of a tire we are getting on each order, when we order through our suppliers, our profit margin is less but we are always getting new tires that we don't have to worry about. Just my opinion, take it as you will

So are you saying these guys are not a reputable dealer. Hmm 5.7k likes from facebook. I don't know about that Drewski browney out I'm not ragging on Pete's Superbike or any other supplier. He could be top-notch, but I've heard negative stories about buying items that have a 'shelf life' like tires, from on-line sources. As has also been said, don't judge any business by Facebook 'likes'. That's foolishness! 'Pete' will be having his mother, father, brother, sister, cousins and everyone he knows 'like' him! You all certainly have the right to do what you wish. Buy what you want, where you want. I like dealing with my local guy that knows me and is motivated to retain my business. I also like to 'touch' what I buy, especially when it's something as important to my well-being as tires. Helping to keep my local guy in business is also in my best interest. Some of the first guys to bitch about there being no reputable dealers or suppliers left, are the same guys that buy most of their stuff online. I buy online too, but I'm a big supporter of the 'local guy.' I appreciate hearing about good sources for stuff, thanks for posting. No ranting here, just my opinion. Mainly, I'm reiterating my firm belief that tires (like helmets and other safety gear) are NOT the place to take chances or 'cheap out'.
