You'd think you'd check that when you're doing a Cam swap, they probably didn't upgrade the springs either? Some people's kids

What happens when stock valve springs and guides are used with a high lift cam. Chewed seals, broken springs, and mangled guides. My new guides are 2mm shorter and can handle up to a 0.500 lift cam. The New guides look bigger Athony or is that the camera? browney out

Can I dyno it for you when it's done ? I kind of have a hard on for it, and would really like to see it make its optimal performance

Gotta get it running first... Made a wooden jig to hold the head at proper angle to press in the valve guides. Just like butter, getting closer.

The head is back in the shop for valve seats to be recut. Will be vacuum tested after. Hopefully will be ready by next monday. Got the painting done. Used supplies from TN Discovery in Scarborough. Found out how lumpy that tank really was. Took a good amount of work and sanding to get it smooth. I still have a bunch of paint left to do more parts. Not sure if I'm 100% sold on that fat front fender or whether to put a skinny shorty on at a later time. I had a extra set of tank decals lying around so I used them. The normal tank emblem mounts were buried in bondo. All in all I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out. Fabbed up some aluminum engine mounts and scored a set of showa rear shocks. Its.coming along. The stock seat doesnt look real sporty so i may grab a semi solo seat conversion kit out of California that still allows a passenger. Its just cut better for a solo rider.
