Be careful putting the tach drive gear in. Most people do it incorrectly and bend it

And i don't know if they have gotten better. But the end plugs always leaked.

Hard to imagine how one could screw up the tach gear. Went in easy. Just used lots of lube And i don't know if they have gotten better. But the end plugs always leaked. I 3 bonded them in there. Top and the semicircle. Enjoying a pint right now. Waiting to hear if Nordy can come over and help me get this damn thing off my bench and into the frame.

Looks great but the back end looks pretty high.I hope the stearing angle isn't to sharp. Could be a speed wobble looking to happen. Can't remember but I think for best handling the swing arm angle should be around 12 degrees.

I was thinking the same thing last night after the engine went in. Looking for a set of shorter rear shocks.

There is a rake and trail calculator on dales site. Plug your numbers in. As I remember the Z's were pretty slow steering......

What do you need to do the engine start up?

This might be it...at the bottom of the H2 specs you can download a calculator: kawtriple.com/mraxl/hanh2mod.htm

What do you need to do the engine start up? Nothing really. Just have to finish it off, install carbs, exhaust, final connections. But you know how it is, after the engine starts the first ride needs to follow. guess i shouldn't get ahead of myself. This thing could blow up right off the bat. Or more likely, nothing happens and the troubleshooting starts. Thanks Ian, I'll check it out.

These definitely look better on the bike than on the bench... Oil cooler hooked up. Ignition wired. Throttle cables and exhaust still to go and then..
