I am trying to remove the front sprocket. But I am stumped on what socket to use.
26mm 6 point is to small 27mm 6 point is to big
How else can I remove he nut to remove the sprocket?

Going from memory, I use a 1-1/16" socket and it fits pretty decently which is the same as 27mm. Could it be that you have an oddball nut?

Must be. 27 mm works fine on mine.

Maybe just use a steel rule to check and double check the nut doesn't have burrs on the flats, just in case someone torqued the crap out of it with a 12 point socket.

Grab a set of calipers and check Al your opposing flats, but should be 27mm
