j-Rod's moving. Soon. Sadly, the couple that have lived behind me for 12-14 yrs is moving. With child #2 on the way, the small 2 bedroom has been outgrown by the Turnbulls. Most know this is where a couple of tents have been pitched over the years as well as bike and car parking. Things will just be a little cozier. Lots of room for Ari and Shilo still ! j-Rod always looked forward to me dropping off a case of beer and a pack duty paid duMauriers as thanks. There is still a chance the deal won't close by fathers day, but houses in Paris sell in hours Some good news tho, j-Rod just bought a sled ! An '05 xc800 Liberty, LOL Curtis. I was wishing he got a 600 Liberty, cuz old 800's are a nuisance. And he now has an upgraded 24x24 garage too, a good move for Turnbull. We will miss him and his family

Yep, 03-06 were not really good engines for 800 kind of a prick actually
Good luck with the new neighbours when they arrive and good luck to j-Rod with upcoming baby, best wishes to him and his wife.
I won't be making this meet either, I hope to be under the knife sooner rather then later

Looking forward to meeting you guys, hopefully I get my done. Every free hour I'm working on it, but I'm busy. So I might be riding the s2. The plan would be to bring both.

What's that all about Don? Thought you had the pre-retirement job all sorted out, with summers off and a leisurely workweek the rest of the year? Hopefully you can make it to your own partay, but don't worry, the boyz can manage things in your absence. We've done it before... Cheers, N

No worries there Just got the D plated and insured in SK, no inspection or safety required as it had a valid AB registration. Ordered new personalized plate and I hope it's here before the annual roadtrip. Only thing in question at the moment is whether or not I have to rent a truck, or my company truck arrives here in time. Regardless, Neil and I will be there as usual Also, I picked up some pretty good shit on my last run up to Fort Mac, I'm sure the usual suspects will enjoy

I still have my teaching job, but I didn't want to sit around and collect e.i. all summer so I took a job wrenching part time. 48 hrs my first week, 52 last week and probably about the same this week. Hopefully it slows down a bit or I may have to quit LoL. Apparently the place isn't even busy yet. I have plane tickets to go see my son in N.B. next week, but thats not going to happen either. I rather enjoy this job, except all the gas and oil I'm in all day. I'll probably quit near the end of June as I have another offer from my nephew to drive a van full of canoe enthusiasts upstream and pick them up downstream, more my speed. Same money as wrenching, but less mess. My lowly kh500 seems to be working ok, so I'll save it for Paris. My best friends nephew was nearly killed in a bike accident last fall caused by a careless driver. After a good long talk with a badly injured rider who lost a leg, his use of an arm...... I've lost a bit of my enthusiasm. Some dumb broad pulled a U-turn in front of him put him in a coma for 2 months. The roads are full of idiots. Sledding is so much safer

There are a lot of idiots out there. have lost friends and acquaintances over the years and enough close calls until I met the deer 2 years ago. I used to hear how dangerous motorcycles were while at BGH , I was on Emerg duty cleaning that area and the CAR accidents were far more than motorcycles and just as deadly. I'm too old to stop riding and I enjoy it waaaayyy to much. 2 years ago a friend family lost their 21 year old kid.a left turn while he was doing 25k killed him instantly. The bar went into his chest. Sad for sure , could be my son. We can't hide I figure so why not enjoy life.Life is too short as it is. If those old farts can still ride like Charlie Mahoney did then I can ! keep on riding

Well. How things change. Pardon my texting as im exhausted and feel like poop. I may make it now unless I have to cancel our gigg which I dont want to do. I'm now laying in Brantford general hospital with heart troubles they think, awaiting an angiogram. Ill be going to Hamilton general friday i hope for this procedure. 11 or 12 years ago I had a heart attack at work which was probly caused by VIOXX I was on for arthritis. It killed many people and caused thousands heart attacks due to blood clots. They figure I had a clot go thru my heart back then and I got off easy\lucky. VIOXX was pulled from the market and the company is embroiled in a world wide class action suit still today. My troubles now, began last weekend. I figure its just indigestion...... time will tell. I had an angiogram back then which showed i had a 30 percent blockage in one of my coronary arteries. Time will tell. LC was in to see me tonight but was rushed out due to another episode. I had him run and get the nurse. My monitor had set off the alarm and the call had been initiated at the same time I guess. Nitro and oxygen brought me around quickly. So here I lay wondering whats next. My new part time job.was.going great to. Ill know more once I get to Hamilton. This really sucks. Longevity for men on my moms side is terrible. My dad and mom both suffered from heart disease and my mom survived 3.strokes.to date. Looks like I will be here a while they say..... Thanks for.coming.to.see.me Scott. Too bad I forgot to bring rum. Sleeping pill is kicking in now and my phone looks all fuzzy
