Well I just made it as it would have been going into the BIG metal container for crushing. Some Yamaha, Honda and a Suzuki were already crushed. The 2 daughters and son want nothing to do with their dads place or the old cars that went as well. And with it an early Merc 440 ..gone. So here is my saved bike So far it needs a gas tank air box assembly a seat /complete Motor stuck But removed the heads today and the bores look good so must be the rings are rusted to the wall Oil tank has emptied itself into the crank I hope

Well I managed to get the RH cylinder off. Tons of heat and some good wacks . Piston is screwed BUT bore good. The LH piston moves freely. ;D Cylinder comes off tomorrow. crank has some minor spots of rust BUT majority from what I see is good. NO rebuild here since I understand rods are NLA now . Also discovered the battery box is toast Surprising it still has the skid pan and ALL bolts are coming out easy ;D ;D

Curtis you have a good eye. yes they are bent but only slightly so I can have them straightened no problem. Just saw Gords post so a call is in order.

It was a fluke on even getting this. If my buddy hadn't seen it it would have gone into the BIG blue container.
